Tips for Re-Taking the EPPP

No one wants to take the EPPP more than once, but sometimes things don’t go our way the first or even third time around. When re-taking the EPPP, it’s important to take a slightly different approach the next time around and build upon what you already know. Rather than reviewing everything all over again, start with the concepts where you scored lower but also have a relatively high level of emphasis (i.e., number of questions on the exam). You’ll want to make sure you know these concepts backwards and forwards. Taking practice tests along the way to assess progress will also be helpful, so you can adjust your study plan as you go to make sure you’re using your time effectively and strategically. Check out the links below for tips about using practice tests to determine next steps and strategies for re-taking the EPPP. Still not sure about how to best move forward? An EPPP coach can be a helpful resource for discussing barriers, identifying next steps, and providing guidance throughout the process to help determine readiness for the exam.
