To recall the Criterion B symptoms of a Manic Episode, think of the mnenonic DIG FAST. An individual must display at least 3 of the following symptoms and they must cause marked impairment in social or occupational functioning, or require hospitalization to prevent harm to one self or others, or there are psychotic features present.
