Conduct Disorder (CD) is characterized by a repetitive and persistent pattern of behavior in which the basic rights of others or major age-appropriate social norms or rules are violated in the past 12 months. An individual meeting criteria for CD will display at lest 3 of the 15 criteria with at least 1 criterion being present in the last 6 months. Though you may not remember all 15 criteria, you can remember the general categories to which they belong. Use the mnemonic TRAP to assist with recalling the 4 major categories of criteria.
