Teletherapy Guide for Washington, D.C.

General Guide (All Licensures)

Practitioners holding an active D.C. license may provide teletherapy services to D.C. residents.

Audio-only teletherapy (i.e., telephonic) is not permitted. Teletherapy must include both interactive audio and visual components. Please see the following statement from the Department of Health Care Finance.
