Try to avoid studying or taking practice tests the day before the exam...
On the day before the exam, you'll want to focus on re-energizing yourself so you can tackle the EPPP with a fresh mind. If you must study, try to stick to a light review, go over some flashcards, or skim your notes for those areas that you've had trouble recalling. Other than that, it's best to set aside your study materials and focus on you, so you can make exam day as stress free and seamless as possible. The less you have to think about the day of the exam, the more cognitive resources you'll have to think through those questions! Below is a list of things to do to help you prepare for exam day:
- Schedule a relaxing activity in the afternoon or evening
- Have a nice, well-balanced meal
- Set out your clothing
- Locate your ID/documents required by the testing center
- Pack any snacks or drinks you'd like to take with you
- Pull up the directions to the testing center & consider driving by so you can familiarize yourself with the location -- don't forget to get gas!
- Try to get to bed at a decent hour
