Things like flashcards, recitation, and active notetaking strategies are helpful strategies for recalling information, but they don't always appeal to test takers. If you're struggling to remember concepts or even recall what you just read, try teaching the material to a partner, pet, or even a plant!
After reading about a concept, take a moment to process the information and try to explain it to someone else. By recalling and saying the material out loud, breaking down concepts in a way that others can understand, and using examples, you're interacting with the material on a deeper level.
