Use the mnemonic A CODE BLUE to help recall the Criterion C symptoms for Stimulant Intoxication. Remember that the individual must experience at least 2 of these symptoms during or shortly after using the stimulant to meet this criterion.Â

Encephalopathic-like changes is a shorter way of capturing all the symptoms that result from alteration in the brain such as “confusion, seizures, dyskinesias, dystonias, or coma.”Â
Unstable muscle associated changes include “muscular weakness, respiratory depression, chest pain, or cardiac arrhythmias.” These are all related to one of the most important muscles in your body – your heart!
