Hello, so I'm trying to understand California Law on this matter. In one area of the Social Worker book and that of the CA Laws and Ethics Preparation Manual, I'm seeing two different things that are confusing me.
Consensual-non abusive sex: under 14 with a 14+ and older party
Statutory rape qualifies as child sexual abuse only when the minor is under 16 years of age and the partner is 21 years of age or older
Can I get some better clarification on age that is illegal and reportable?
