Program Director- Mental Health Urgent Care
This position is responsible for leadership in implementing, operating, and sustaining the Mental Health Urgent Care program in partnership with Community Health Center, Pathways and University of Vermont Medical Center. This includes all aspects of service delivery and client care, budget management, and quality improvement.
As a senior leader, the program director maintains community stakeholder relationships and guides program policy to support the needs of clients, staff, and programs in our system of care.
Responsibilities:
Provides leadership to the departments within the program; ensures day to day operations
Supervises the leadership team and other key program staff
Liaison with UVM MC and other community partners related to transitions of care and decreasing ED utilization
Maintains public relations, including outreach and marketing materials
Promotes values of client-centered care, respect, inclusion, diversity and the de-stigmatization of mental health and substance use treatment and support
Upholds a culture of quality assurance and process improvement in service delivery, including regular data collection, and internal and external reporting
Represents the program in internal and external meetings and forums
Oversees partnership agreements, payments, data tracking, and budget management.
