Bleuler Psychotherapy Center, a respected nonprofit clinic with over 70 years of service in Queens, is hiring licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our diverse, mission-driven team. This hybrid role offers flexibility, rich clinical experience, and top-tier compensation for individual sessions - well above typical NYC fee-for-service rates.
You’ll work with a multicultural population of children, adults, couples, and families, including LGBTQIA+ clients, youth, veterans, and justice-involved individuals. Whether you're full-time or part-time, you’ll enjoy flexibility, support, and the chance to be part of meaningful change.
What You’ll Do
Conduct intakes, psychosocial assessments, and risk evaluations (including CSSRS)
Provide individual, couples, family, group, and crisis therapy
Use trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches with a diverse caseload
Collaborate with prescribers, supervisors, and clinical staff on care coordination
Lead or co-lead therapy groups and participate in clinical initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EHR (CareLogic)
Use clinical tools like PHQ-9, GAD-7, and PSYCKES to guide treatment
Attend case conferences, team meetings, and supervision
Report mandated incidents to appropriate authorities as needed
Who You Are
Licensed in New York State as an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT (required)
Experienced in providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and/or families
Skilled in trauma-informed care, culturally responsive practice, and telehealth
Bilingual in Spanish or Bengali is a strong plus
Organized, empathetic, and passionate about mental health equity
Comfortable using EHR systems and documentation tools
